Forensic Single Portal Entry
Forensic Single Portal is the continuity of care team with the courts that acts as a liaison for the people we serve awaiting commitment to and from a psychiatric hospital. The team works to establish a discharge plan with The Harris Center’s UM team, FACT team, legal counsel, and the HC courts. The team attends weekly court staffings, hearings, and petitions forced medication requests with the courts as deemed.
FSP also has presence in the Responsive Integrations for Change (RIC) Court, the misdemeanor criminal courts, and the Joint Processing Center to help link to outpatient mental health services at The Harris Center.
